Spotted On Screen

Thanks to everyone who has phoned, texted or emailed when you've spotted one of our comedians on the telly. We thought we'd have some fun on the blog and get you to let us know when you spot someone you've seen at a comedy night on the telly!

Here are a few to start you off with....if you spot someone then leave us a comment or send us an email and we'll post it up!

  • The C4 production, “Skins”, is now in its second series and this, just like the first, is a case of “spot the comedian/comedienne” playing one of the adult characters”! (Harry Enfield, Arabella Weir and Bill Bailey have all made an appearance). In a recent episode, you may have caught our December 2008 head-line act, Ray Peacock. Ray played an angry shell-suited “gang” member mouthing-off at Mackenzie Crook’s Bristolian “mobster” at a family party which cumulated in an almighty nightclub fight! It was a small cameo part with just one line but that hair was unmistakable!
  • Compere for our September 2008 show, Jarred Christmas, can be spotted tucking into a burger whilst mesmerised by glamorous air crew in the Virgin Airlines 25 Year anniversary ad which was, he tells us, actually filmed at the new futuristic Ascot Racecourse!
  • The talented Mr. Rufus Hound (MC in October 2008) can be seen on satellite channel, Dave, as a team captain on the comedy game show “Argumental” clashing swords with opposing team captain, Marcus Brigstocke. In a recent edition, Jarred Christmas also appeared on the show in Marcus’ team.
  • Rob Deering (Head-line act October 2008) – was a guest on “I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here Now” (the behind the scenes one with Mark Durden-Smith) back in December.
